Meet Some Members of Prescott Chorale

Michael Lee – Tenor

Singing with a mixed a cappella keeps musical standards high * completing 2 ½ years in

Prescott * enjoy photography and cycling * did mission dentistry in Micronesia, and played guitar * love each of my great grandchildren.

Marian Costanza – Soprano

Moved to Prescott six years ago * retired RN, 35 years, 25 of which were in operating room, 19 in open heart surgery * professionally accompanied on piano or organ * mother was a professional flautist * love golfing, hiking, reading and of course singing with PC is a big joy * best friend moved here and I delight in the four seasons along with singing with 1st United Methodist church choir every Sunday.

Joe Jenkins – Tenor

Completing my third season with PC * visited Prescott 2014 with friends and fell in love with the city * learning new choral masterpieces with other tenors is very enjoyable * sang with Baltimore Symphony Chorus, Carroll County Masterworks Chorale, Baltimore Master Chorale * sang Pennsylvania all state chorus in 1967, great experience * directed Emory United Methodist church choir for 25 years * ran 3 marathons (still running after 45 years).

Lore Christensen – Soprano

Hospice Social Worker by day and jazz singer by night * grew up on Catalina Island, CA. * built rural off-grid solar home to house family and growing art collection * sang role of Cinderella in Sondheim’s “Into The Woods” * took 2nd place in Prescott’s Idol 2017 with her jazz group MINT * learning how to embrace my voice and myself in the process * my 4th season with PC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

James (Jim) Marchant – Baritone

My first season with PC * sang with Orange Community Chorus, Fullerton Master Chorale, Yorba Linda Arts Alliance Chorus and many church choirs since 1975 * retired in Prescott * enjoying fishing, cooking and carpentry *  played trombone in high school and two years in college * have donated more than 50 pints of blood in my lifetime.

Ben Wallace – Tenor

A three season singer with PC * sang with Pacific Chorale (19 seasons) * performed Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah on tour in China * back up singer for Sarah Brightman and Liza Minelli for charity at Universal Amphitheatre in Hollywood * retired from USPS residing in Paulden for 3 years * was Jiminy Cricket at Disneyland for two Christmas seasons * pit band for community theatre productions in Southern California.
